Some sessions feel a little more tender, a little more personal, and this one meant more to me than I can fully put into words.

This beautiful in home newborn session was for someone who has been part of my life since 9th grade. We grew up together, did life together, and like many long friendships, we went through a season where our paths separated. Being invited back into her life to document something as sacred as her baby and her family felt incredibly full circle.

There were moments during this session where I had to remind myself to stay behind the camera, because my heart was right there with her. Watching her as a mother, seeing her family love on this sweet little baby, and being trusted to capture it all was such a gift.

This is why I love what I do. It’s more than photos. It’s connection, history, healing, and getting to preserve the moments that matter most for the people who matter to me.

So grateful for new beginnings, for growing, and for the chance to tell stories like this one 🤍

They’re about remembering the season you worked so hard to get to - the waiting, the hoping, the dreaming, the becoming.

They’re about giving yourself the gift of remembering what this chapter felt like… not just how it looked.
The tiny toes, the soft breathing, the way they curled naturally into your hands - things that change so quickly it almost hurts.

If you’re expecting, or hoping to be, I want you to know you deserve photos that hold the tenderness of these days long after they’ve passed.

Newborn mornings like today fill my heart right up. Callahan’s nursery looked like it came straight out of a storybook and his family was just the sweetest to spend the morning with. And little Callahan… truly an angel the entire session. I can’t wait to share some sneak peeks soon.

PS—yes, they even made me a coffee. Truly the best!
