Jarrod Oram Photography turns 4 today 🎉📷

On Sept. 2, 2022, after 20+ years in branding, advertising and marketing, I kissed that abyss goodbye and went all in on this crazy little fine art photography bidness.

Four years later, I still can’t quite believe where it’s taken me.

Traveling the world.
Turning corners.
Looking a little closer.

Finding beauty, joy and a little rando in places I might have otherwise walked right past…and then watching those images find their way into your homes and spaces.

But the absolute best part has been the people.

The clients, designers, partners and friends who have trusted me, collaborated with me, laughed with me and made this whole thing infinitely more fun than I ever imagined.

Thanks y’all. Truly💜

Four down. Still looking around corners👀

Summer isn’t over yet…😎

A little reminder to squeeze every last bit out of it.

And when it is over, hopefully that summer feeling sticks around just a little longer (just not the 105° incinerating days🥵)…

Ten days in California😎

From San Francisco down the coast to San Luis Obispo🩵

Some favorites from a July spent chasing fog, coastline, kitsch, color and everything in between🌁🌊☀️🎡

The Trucks of Texas🤠

Mexico City had the simple cars.

Mayfair had a Ferrari around every corner.

And Texas? Texas has trucks.

Sun-faded paint, worn leather, ranch dust and more than a few well-earned dents.

Some are still puttin’ in a full day’s work…others have become roadside folk art.

Built for work. Weathered by miles.

As Texas as it gets🤘

Ferraris of Mayfair🇬🇧🏎️🇬🇧

The cars of Mexico City were about the ordinary…the patina, the wear and the beauty hiding in plain sight.

A Sunday evening stroll through upscale London district of Mayfair was the other end of the automotive spectrum.

It felt like Oprah was posted up on every corner:

“You get a Prancing Horse! You get a Prancing Horse! Everybody gets a Prancing Horse!” 🐎

The cars of Mexico City feel like part of the architecture in each neighborhood🇲🇽🚗🏛️

Old Beetles, vintage trucks, classic American muscle…and the occasional burned out van…parked against streets and buildings already overflowing with color, texture and history.

Nothing pristine or priceless. Just layers of worn, weathered and patina’d beauty.

When luxe translucent pup crates meet a Louis Vuitton stroll down Bond Street🐾🍒

When the owner of Pretty Kennels picked this piece for her own home…and hung it right above the VIP suites…I knew it had found the perfect wall and audience🐶

*That ain’t no AI y’all🦾

The next chapter deserves a new backdrop...

A new space for creating, collaborating and seeing the work the way it was meant to be seen.

Welcome to a quick sneak peek of the studio⚡️

A Day on PCH 🌊

One drive I’ve always wanted to do was the Pacific Coast Highway from San Francisco down through Big Sur and into the Central Coast.

Driving the PCH from Monterey to San Luis Obispo will turn you into a landscape photographer REAL quick.

140 miles…5 hours…

Every few miles…

Another turnout…

Another stretch of impossible blue water….

Another cliff, cove, redwood or cypress that has you saying…

“Just one more stop.”
