It's been a while my friends. I've been absent from my page for quite a while, busy, trying to grow and put more effort into my craft.

I currently have two photographs at the South Carolina State fair, and I've been fairly busy over the last year.

I do have calendars available, and will likely make one or two more orders for 2027. If you're interested, you're more than welcome to message here, comment, or on my personal page.

Thank you all

A few skinks from Georgia. The male Broad-headed skink was sitting in ambush. He would wait for a bug to pass by, and within an instant he had lunch.

Curiously, these guys have always been fast to flee from humans. I would imagine five or six walked right by him, without so much as a flinch.

I had to include the blue tailed beauty as well.

Eastern Copperhead (Agkistrodon contortrix), venomous.

This particular snake was found in South Carolina, but they have a wide range in the central and eastern US. In many areas, they are the most prevalent venomous species.

They typically will freeze when approached, and try to rely on their camouflage.

Their ability to blend in is pretty remarkable, especially in leaf litter.
