The 2025 calendar will be available for purchase starting around December 2nd. This year's edition features stunning images from the Kenai Peninsula and Oregon, which are available for preview below. With the title "Life is an Adventure," the calendar captures the essence of the exciting experiences shared by Noreen and me. The cover image, showcasing the breathtaking Aurora Borealis, was captured in our own backyard. The Kenai Fjords has an abundance of wildlife and unspoiled scenery. Put it on your bucket list. You won't be disappointed. Only accessible from boat as there are no roads into this rugged area. (I took some Dramamine and had no trouble with the boat trip.)

Our backyard birds have been emptying the feeder regularly. Sometimes it only takes one day. When a storm is about to hit they really step it up. Today the feeder had a, generally unwelcome, visitor. The Sharp Shinned hawk was back and looking for a straggler. No luck today.
