Fresh 48 session feat my own son.

Story time!!!!!

When I was pregnant with my second born I was very excited to do our own newborn photography session. Which is something I wasn’t able to do with my first born. I spent months studying how to pose newborns, which angles to capture from, how to work with natural lighting, best camera settings, how to swaddle for photos, etc! I think I packed my camera bag before I packed for our hospital bag. Just when I thought all my plans were falling to places, days from my induction date, my hubby and first born both tested positive for covid! I didn’t end up testing positive until I was admitted to the hospital for my induction. So there I was, in my labor & delivery room…just me, my luggage & camera bag…and my plans in the trash can! I was literally stressing out how I was going to pull of his fresh 48 session when I also was going through my fresh 48 labor! Oh and doing all of that while I had covid. Is there an award for that???! And before you ask…yes I had epidural so yes….it was difficult being a photographer right after delivering this baby! I honestly wouldn’t trade this experience for anything. While it was difficult not having my support system by my side, it was still so special to have that moment together with my son. I guess I could say it was literally worth the pain ☺️

Happy New Year everyone!!! I have officially wrapped up my very first holiday minis! I'm so grateful for my clients who chose my service to capture their memories. I have been meaning to start this journey way back in 2020 but Covid happened. I can not thank my supportive friends and family for encouraging me to push this goal of mine. May 2022 bring us good health and much more blessings! I'm looking forward to capturing more memories! Be on the look out for another upcoming holiday session 🥳
