This is how I grow my Instagram without wasting time making every post from scratch.

This is a professional camera. This is my laptop. They are connected with a cable, so the camera becomes my we**am. I show up to my meetings with this setup.

That was the point of my original reel. Use something I am already doing as the source for content. I still have to show up and say something useful.

The part I am updating is the handoff to video editors. I want AI video editors working on virtual machines. A VM is a remote computer that does the rendering. In that setup, Claude uses my words, footage and past posts to make the edit plan. An AI video editor follows that plan on a VM. The finished video still needs to be watched and checked before it goes out.

You can start much smaller. Record your next tutorial. Take its transcript and give Claude this:

“Find one useful moment in this transcript. Keep my words. Suggest the cut and what to show.”

Then read what it picked. Does the moment make sense on its own? Does the picture explain the words? Watch the finished clip and read the captions before posting it.

That is the bit you can copy today. One useful recording gives you something real to work with. You do not need to invent a new personality or sit down with a blank page every time.

Save the map for your next recording.

The studio scenes illustrate the setup. The recording frame is from my original reel.

The first two images are AI-enhanced edits of my actual setup footage. Lighting and framing are edited, and the screens are darkened. Slide three shows an original recording frame.

Prices are rounded buying estimates in euros, checked 6 September 2026 in the Netherlands, not what I paid. Sony ZV-E10 II body: about €1,000, lens extra (Cameranu lists €940). The €3,100 laptop budget uses a new 16-inch MacBook Pro M5 Pro, 24GB/1TB, as a reference (Coolblue lists €3,099). It is not a valuation of the older laptop pictured. $25 million in a day, from an ad that was blank white.

no renders. no project. no logo doing gymnastics. white.

i heard the story on the podcast and it has not left my head since.

think about the feed it landed in. glass towers. sunsets. pools. drone shots. every single one beautiful. every single one identical.

then a white square. your thumb stops on the thing that does not belong. that is the whole mechanic. no trick in it.

the launch sold $25 million in a day.

and the part that should sting a little. every other advertiser in that feed had more to show. better product, bigger budget, real . they had the work. nobody saw it.

i ran ads and got almost nothing back for the money. i thought the fix was a better offer, sharper copy, tighter targeting. it was none of those. i was making things that looked like everything else, so people who would have bought me scrolled straight past.

that is why i stopped asking if my work was good enough and started asking if it was different enough.

getting ignored is not a skill problem. it is a sameness problem. your best work sitting in a feed that looks like every other feed does the same thing for you as no work at all.

so do this today. put your page next to the biggest accounts in your space. same colours, same layout, same energy? then you are invisible, and it is costing you money right now.

pick one thing everybody in your space does and stop doing it. one. the empty, slightly embarrassing version that makes you nervous is usually the one that gets seen.

The photography industry is dying.

Camera sales down 94%.
Most photos now shot on phones.
Average salary stuck around $33K.

That sounds scary if you sell pretty pictures.

It is not scary if you sell business outcomes.

The survivors I talk to stopped competing with smartphones.
They stopped leading with gear talk.
They started solving the client problem that actually pays.

1. They stopped selling pretty pictures and started solving real business problems.
Position as a growth partner, not a picture taker.
Focus on client outcomes, not technical skills.

2. They transformed from picture taker to business asset.
Help clients grow through visuals.
Become an irreplaceable part of their marketing.

3. They stopped competing with smartphones.
Offer strategic value beyond image capture.
Create complete visual solutions.

One client went from $200 a shoot to $4,000 packages with this positioning shift.

The industry is not dying.
It is sorting who adapts from who stays stuck.

Your business stops when you stop.

If the plan lives only in your head, it dies when you sleep. Hooks. Replies. Delivery steps. What to check after a post. When you are tired, the whole thing freezes.

So I wrote the jobs down as files.

Content has its own folder. hook-writing.md. carousel-brief.md. reel-script.md. caption.md. idea-score.md. Each file is one job. Outcome: a post goes out.

Inbox has its own folder. lead-sort.md. dm-reply.md. follow-up.md. WhatsApp, Instagram, and Telegram all point at the same habit. Outcome: a reply goes out.

Work and ops have their own folders too. Brief intake. Scope. First pass. Deliver. Week plan. Outcome: the job runs.

Measure has a loop. I read the post at 24 hours, 7 days, and 30 days. I score the next idea before I make it. The ledger stays honest: 3,177 signups. 110 booked. 800+ projects. Booked is not held.

Claude sits in the middle of the tools I already use. Drive holds the files. The apps bring the work in. The files tell the machine what to start. The day can begin without rewriting the plan from scratch.

I still keep the final eye. The point is not that a robot runs my life. The point is that the next job is written down.

Start small. Pick one job you repeat every week. Write it as one file. Put that file in one folder. Open it tomorrow and run it.

My business used to wait for me. Now the system works first.

I used to be the start button for everything.

A lead came in. I had to read it, decide what it meant, and remember the next step. A post needed to go out. I stared at a blank page. A shoot ended. I still had to sort the files, prepare the first pass, and keep the delivery moving. Then the follow up sat in my head until I remembered it.

If I stopped, the business stopped.

So I built the work in a different order.

Now the system prepares the first move. It sorts what came in. It prepares a draft in my words. It gets the shoot ready for my final eye. It puts the follow up in front of me before I forget it.

I still decide. I still say yes or no. I still make the final call. I am just not the start button anymore.

This came after 800+ photography and video projects. The craft came first. The system came because carrying every small job myself did not make the work better.

I have had one post produce 3,177 email signups in 10 days. I have had 110 calls booked in one day, and about 150 across that campaign. I grew my Instagram audience organically with 0 paid ads behind that growth.

Those are my numbers, not a promise. Yours will be yours.

The lesson for me was simple. I did not need more things waiting for my attention. I needed the work ready before I arrived.

$400 vs $4,000. Same camera.
I used to charge $400 a shoot. Same skill I have now. Same camera I still hold. I did not buy a new camera. I changed the buyer.

The $400 client argued about price. Can you do it for less. Then they asked for more for free. Then they disappeared when I held the line. Cheap wants cheaper.

The $4,000 client sent the money and said thank you. They inspect the light. They want speed. They want peace of mind. They are not buying a photo. They are buying the problem gone. Rich wants it handled.

I used to think expensive clients were harder. They are actually easier. Cheap work made me tired. I was still broke. One client at $4,000 was calmer than a stack of $400 jobs.

This is the origin story. I went from $400 to $4,000 per shoot. Same camera. Same skill. Different price. Different buyer. The glass did not change. The person who paid for the day did.

Show the work. Do not just say the price. Put the camera, the light, and the stand in the frame. Let them see why it costs what it costs.

The video in this carousel is that story. I talked. The system cut it. Voice only. No editor. That Reel already hit 5 million views.

Follow for the system.

I gave Claude access to my Photos app.

It is connected to my iPhone through iCloud. Every video I shoot lands there. All the videos I have ever taken sit there. That library used to be a dump I never opened.

Now Claude searches it. I can say camera and it pulls every shot with a camera in it. Studio. Wedding. A lens. Whatever is actually in the library. It writes a script from what it finds. It turns that script into a Reel. I add my own voiceover on top.

The video in this carousel is one of those. I talked. It cut. Voice only. No editor. $400 vs $4,000. That story already hit 5 million views. This is the system making the next one.

I used to open Photos, scroll, close it, and not post. The library was full. The feed was empty. That is the problem. You cannot get clients from work nobody can find. I was shooting. I was not publishing. The gap was search, not talent.

Claude is the brain of my business. I press record. The system decides what is worth posting. I still shoot. I still talk. I do not sit in Photos for an hour hunting a file named IMG and a date I do not remember.

Photos used to be where work went to die. Now it is where Reels start. Same camera. Same clips. Different system. I do not need a bigger team to post more. I need the clips I already shot to be findable.

If the clip is in iCloud, it can be found. If it can be found, it can become a Reel. That is the loop I actually run. Record. Land in Photos. Search. Script. Voice. Post.

My best work still made clients guess

I thought finished work was enough

People could see the result

But they could not see the experience

They had no idea what working with me felt like

That gap mattered

I changed what I showed

I shared the process behind the work

I explained why I made each decision

I showed how I understood the client before the work started

The experience became part of the proof

Then I made the next step easy

The service was clear

The process was visible

People could decide whether I was right for them

They did not need to contact me first

That is the lesson in this carousel

When I only showed finished work, people did the hard part

They had to work out what made me different

They had to guess what happened next

I learned this through client work

I still use the same principle now

I show the thinking behind the work

I explain the problem I am solving

I show how the work happens

I make the next step obvious

My content answers questions before the conversation starts

Then the conversation can focus on the person

Their problem

Their situation

What they need

The right conversation starts further forward

I stopped treating Instagram like a portfolio

I started using it as part of the business

The work still matters

But the thinking around the work matters too

If people cannot see the difference, they have to guess

I do not want the right person guessing
