Urban Tulip Studios Modern Fine Art Portrait Studio in Vernal, Utah. Welcome to my place! I love capturing and celebrating who YOU are! We'll do your hair. We'll do your makeup.

My main priority is to give you a great portrait experience; the kind that you look back at and remember fondly. I know how it feels to be alone in front of the camera, unsure of how you will come out; that's why your comfort is my team's main concern. We'll eat chocolate-covered strawberries. We'll laugh. We'll become good friends. When we start taking pictures, you'll be ready. Every year around my birthday, I do a personal shoot, usually self-portraits. But this year, for my 45th birthday, I decided to be photographed by someone whose work I admire, and it was a wonderful experience! It definitely felt different. **2025 wasn’t a year I wanted to escape.**

Instead, it became a time for me to pause and recognize that true strength isn’t just about being busy. This year showed me that our studio focuses more on meaning than on how much we produce. It’s about creating lasting memories, like photographs that families treasure. It's also about taking the time to truly connect with the people around me.

I learned to embrace rest without feeling guilty. Moving forward, my focus will be on rebuilding myself rather than just my business. I want to blend kindness with ambition and make sure to protect my joy.

There were celebrations, moments of waiting, and times of really listening. I understood how important it is to take care of my health and my heart.

In 2025, I remembered why I started this journey: not for numbers or trends, but to create art that helps people feel understood. I want to capture the love that families share right now and create beauty that lasts beyond just a snapshot.

This year taught me that the most meaningful changes often happen quietly, without any applause.
