I'm rarely speechless... but...

wow

I met Ava a few years ago when I took her senior photos, and I'm SO glad she asked me to take engagement photos for her and Dylan!! Everything about their engagement session last night was absolute perfection. I just know their wedding next May will be incredible. ❤❤❤

A little appreciation shout-out to my assistants! When you opt to add on an assistant for your day, they not only help me, but they do everything they possibly can to help you, as well! Over the last weekend, I caught this gem vacuuming a small area because she saw it needed done, catching behind the scenes shots that I would have missed, going through a closet to find a perfect hanger, straightening clothes/flowers/ties/hair, making sure people had water, cutting cake & serving food. And that's just the tip of the iceberg! Adding on a second shooter/assistant almost makes it seem like I'm in two places at once!!

Lauren (shown here) and Carolyn are my two main helpers, along with others occasionally. They all go above and beyond and I sure appreciate them!! (It probably helps that most of my assistants are family, so they are used to me being bossy and demanding 🤣)

Such an incredible weekend for the marriage of Chris & Jodi! They were surrounded by friends and family that love them and were so happy to be there to witness the beginning of their happy ever after.

And let me tell you - they know how to throw a party! Talk about a celebration! I have two days worth of photos to edit, but I had to put together a little sneak peek for the newlyweds.

So the purpose of tonight's session was to get some pictures celebrating the sweetest baby girl and her FIRST birthday! The pics are looking incredible, but we're keeping those private for mom and dad to share. BUT - at one point I had to grab her from her parents and snag a few of the two of them. After all, they've been amazing parents for a whole year now and should be celebrated, too! ❤️
