While George Eastman didn't invent photography, he brought it to the masses. He invented a way to put the emulsion - the light-sensitive chemicals - onto celluloid, after he mastered putting it on metal plates. In doing so, camera coulds be made portable, and many shots could be taken on a single cartridge, which would be sent to Eastman Kodak for development. "You take the picture, we do the rest" was their tagline. This is his grave at, fittingly, Eastman Business Park.
