Long post so bear with me🥹 I’ve been sitting on this for a while, going through all the trials of trying to figure out what really feeds my soul in this business. I’ve been so ready for a change but never really knew how to go about making the change so I think the best way would be by being open with you all.

When I let go of my studio and moved my business outdoors, my original vision was to photograph more lifestyle vibes. Like families, couples, connection, personalities, and all the little in between moments.

Maternity has always been the biggest part of my brand from the very beginning.
I love the big dresses, posing moms and everything over the top that comes with it but I realize that creatively, I’m feeling a little burnt out from photographing the same types of sessions, locations, dresses and poses consistently over and over🥲

I also want the chaos, the giggles, the personalities, kids running wild, and all the real moments that come from the types of shoots that don’t require “posing”.

I would love to start leaning more into family and lifestyle sessions, my style will remain the same but I want to take on other sessions more often than maternity🥹
I want to challenge myself creatively, practice more prompts, work with bigger families and different ages, and build the kind of portfolio I’ve been dreaming of.

Carrying your love with me🤍🌎

Madison is welcoming her 5th and final baby in just a few short days. I photographed her last pregnancy a couple of years ago, so it was such an honor to have her in front of my camera again🥹

To me, there’s always a specific image in a gallery that speaks volumes. And this one— it’s giving the mother, the lover, the creator. It’s giving powerful. It’s giving selfless. It’s giving honorable.

There’s something sacred about a woman’s body carrying life. The stretching, the growing, the discomfort, the exhaustion, the changes we can’t always recognize as our own. And somehow through it all, our bodies continue to create, nurture, protect, and bring these tiny humans into the world.

Five babies. Five times her body said, I can do this.

Pregnancy is not easy. Motherhood is not easy. And yet women continue to show up with a strength that is almost impossible to put into words.

So often, we look at a maternity photo and see a beautiful belly, beautiful light, and beautiful skin. But I hope we remember to look deeper.

See the woman.
See what her body has endured.
See what it has created.
See the strength behind the softness.
See the love behind every stretch mark and every change.

Because this body is not simply carrying a baby. It’s carrying a legacy. It’s creating life. It’s doing something extraordinary.
