If I could go back for just one day, I think I’d choose this one.

I’d hold them a little longer, breathe in that sweet newborn smell, and watch my oldest fall in love with being a big brother all over again. I’d memorize the tiny fingers, the sleepy stretches, the way they both fit so perfectly in my arms.

This is exactly why I’ll always choose lifestyle newborn sessions. They aren’t about perfect poses or elaborate setups, they’re about preserving the feeling of those first days at home. The quiet moments. The messy moments. The moments you don’t realize will one day become the ones you miss the most.

My boys are bigger now, and while I’m so thankful to watch them grow, there will always be a part of me that misses this season. I’m endlessly grateful I have these photographs to take me back. 🤍
