Good Evening My Friends!

Question for anyone and everyone out there.

Now I have spent an extensive amount of time studying the moon and constellations.

One night this popped in my head and I’ve been stuck on it ever since.

If we are on a big rock spinning on an axis while orbiting the sun on an oblong trajectory. 

How is it that The North Star that is approximately 323 light years away stays in a fixed position. Never moving from its spot in the sky, with every other star spinning around it perfectly)

Good Night my Friends!

During the new moon last night the clouds cooperated!

With perfect conditions for stargazing there was only one place I could think of to enjoy the evening.

It was one of those nights that there were so many stars you could even see the elusive constellation of Cancer to the naked eye!

If you’re not familiar with astronomy Cancer is arguably the hardest constellation to see.
