As a migrant who came to the United States with hopes, dreams, and the desire to build a better future, I never imagined the incredible journey that would unfold before me.

Over the past 13 years, Vincennes has become my home. It is where I started my family, built lifelong friendships, and found a community that welcomed and supported me. Through hard work, faith, and the encouragement of so many wonderful people, I was able to turn my passion into a business and become the owner of The Ascended Photography.

Along the way, I also achieved a milestone that means so much to me—I officially became an American citizen. 🇺🇸 While I am proud of my Filipino heritage, I am equally proud to call the United States my home and to contribute to the community that has given my family so many opportunities.

Today, I am proud to be a Filipino-American small business owner and grateful for the support that has helped me grow both personally and professionally.

I would love to invite my clients, friends, followers, and supporters to visit our Filipino Community Booth at Summer on Main! 🇵🇭🇺🇸

This booth is a celebration of Filipino culture, traditions, and heritage. We will be showcasing cultural displays, traditional clothing, Philippine flags, and items that represent the beauty and diversity of the Philippines. My hope is that through sharing our culture, we can continue building connections, understanding, and appreciation within our community.

I am incredibly grateful for the support Vincennes has shown me throughout the years. Because of this community, I was able to grow from a newcomer starting a family in a new country, to an American citizen, and eventually to a proud small business owner serving local families and preserving their memories through photography.

Gwendolynn's Sweet One Cake Smash

Oh, Miss Gwendolynn, you absolutely stole the show! It has been a long time since I've had a cake smash session this easy, fun, and full of personality. From her adorable smiles to those priceless little expressions, she gave us every reaction a photographer could hope for!

She was curious, happy, playful, and completely embraced her special day. Watching her dig into her cake, explore the set, and flash those sweet smiles made this session an absolute joy from start to finish.

One thing is for sure—this little girl knows how to work the camera! Every photo captures a different side of her adorable personality, and I couldn't be more in love with how this ice cream-themed cake smash turned out.

Whimsical Shoot | Dawsyn

Sometimes creativity starts with a simple idea and a willingness to experiment. For Dawsyn's session, I wanted to try something different—combining the beauty of an outdoor setting with a carefully placed backdrop to create a whimsical fairytale scene. And honestly? I couldn't be happier with how it turned out!

With her sweet smile, flowing pink dress, and the magical garden-inspired setup, Dawsyn brought this enchanted vision to life. Watching her explore the scene made every moment feel like stepping into a storybook.

This session reminded me that trying new things can lead to beautiful results, and I'm excited to continue creating unique and imaginative experiences for my clients.
