🟠Double birthday!🟠

Happy birthday to Bart and Brendon. Wishing you both the happiest birthday and, and many more to come.

On this day 27 years ago, Bart came into this world with a camera in one hand and a lens in the other.

7 years later Brendon appeared. We have no idea where he came from, but we’re glad he’s here.

🟠Come take a journey through time🟠

The above pictured camera is the Polaroid electric eye. Released in the early 1960’s, it gave the everyday person easy access to high quality photography, for a relatively affordable price. (~$150 at the time, or ~$1300 in today’s money.)

This camera is one of many vintage cameras held here at T&F. Our displays consist of a wide variety of cameras spanning back through the decades of photographic history.

For many of these cameras, film is no longer available. Ironically, this makes some of these cameras just as much of a historical snapshot themselves as the pictures they once took.

For over a hundred years, photography has given the normal everyday person the superpower to freeze time and space.

To capture a moment, and slow the world down on command. Then to materialize that moment as a physical artifact. That’s nothing short of magic.

No matter how the world changes, at T&F we believe that preserving this ability to capture and preserve what is real is our responsibility, not just as a camera shop, but as people.

Come stop by and take a look! While many of these vintage cameras are not for sale, they are on display all the time, and 100% free to look at. If Bart’s in store, he’d love to tell you about them!

🟠Even MORE!🟠

Lots of great pictures and exciting moments were captured during our night out in Wildwood last Sunday. So many, that I’m STILL not done posting about it. I’m fact, I might never stop. THATS how much stuff we took pictures of.

Our excellent model, the sky, the rides, the people, the seagulls, the food, the drinks, the snacks, the doors, the floor, the trash cans, the sand, the water, that one dude dressed up as a pineapple, everyone’s camera equipment, Bart… etc. I made sure to fill up at least 4 256GB cards for each category, and I’ll NEVER get tired of posting them.
