This is my daughter, Ellie. I haven't share any posts in ages, but February is Turner Syndrome awareness month and this sweet girl needed a shout out!!
Ellie is 8. She loves workout videos, dancing, music, watching TV, she loves her people and cheering them on, loves Soda. She rules our roost, but we all let her cause she's worth being bossed around by! She gives the best hugs, and hates Marco Polo, but loves to video call her cousins/family members!
Ellie was diagnosed at birth with Aicardi Syndrome, and Turner Syndrome. She is considered "non-verbal", but can communicate so great! She's very receptive and sooo smart. We were told she would never walk, but she runs and jumps and loves to dance! She is on Growth Hormone to help her grow, as one of the side effects of Turner Syndrome is short Stature. Funny thing about Ellie, I don't think anyone told her she is any different than anyone else. She's happy and loving and loves life. I wish I could be more like Ellie.
