I took this a few years ago. A door latch to a small barn on the farm where I get my hay.

When I saw I hadn't posted anything since January, I was shocked. Where did the time go? I've been busy with other projects, and I'm still out a digital camera. I've puttered with my film camera, but it'll take a long time for me to get through a roll of 36 🙈. And then it'll be a surprise if they turn out. I'm hoping the light meter is working correctly 🙄

Happy. The neighbors haven't officially declared her ours and we haven't asked, but in her mind, we are home. We love her despite trash can dumps, sleeping on my bed - completely off limits and she knows it, jumping on the kitchen table - that didn't go over well either, and chewing the wood furniture. 💗

I did some pickin' on Sunday and while taking a walk around the barn, I noticed the goat door. The barn is bad on that side and nature is starting to take it back. They used to have Nubians, my favorite considering I had two of them - both have passed. My girls just used the front door of the house. 😂

A long time friend of mine took us to her uncle's farm that was a short distance from our Airbnb. So much to see! After 22 years, I was given the opportunity to go back to where I grew up. The beach was one of the few things that hadn't changed. It was a beautiful, sunny, walk on the sand barefoot day. The salt water waves never felt nor smelled so good. Happy tears. This landlocked beach girl couldn't have asked for anything better. 🌊🐚☀️
