♡ this is Nika! this was my 2nd time taking her photograph. and this woman is the truly the most gorgeous night owl i’ve ever seen. i can expect anytime that we work together to begin shooting at 2-4am + spending the entire next day sleeping lol. i couldn’t be happier with how these came out

i’ve been finding myself taking my camera with me more lately to concerts that i’ve been going to locally. in between all the dancing & singing, here are a few that i captured at when i saw perform earlier this year 🫶🏾

i thought it was the perfect time to share these because last week my photo from this set was on TV ! 🥹🙈 (on the - to be specific) during their live music friday segment!

this is the first time this has happened for me… so eeeeek i was (and still am) so full of joy 🌈 (swipe to the last slide)

🎾👟 So grateful to have done this photoshoot with the beautiful and creative .esperanza (because every photographer needs at least one tennis court shoot, right?). Desi is so talented—she made nearly the entire outfit by hand, from sewing/hemming the skirt to crafting the headband. I love a from-scratch girly! 😩 These were taken toward the end of summer last year, and the weather was chef’s kiss. Today’s weather is pretty close too. :) thank you so much to everyone who lets me photograph them— it means more than I can express right now… 🩵

shooting these portraits with aaliyah was my first time shooting in my apartment 🥹!!! (outside of self portraits) ✰ i thought these were just so simple and cute & i think every photographer at some point shoots in their home so this was exciting for me lol

my new year’s resolution? i honestly just made a list of ins & outs (which felt so good to purge & make mental space for a new thing) butttt if i had any resolution.. it’s to integrate myself back into the photography/creative community. also to post. being on social media exhausted me for so long BUT i miss y’all fr & miss sharing my life lol 🤍☺️

♡ shots from my first time shooting on film (Nikon F5 thank you ) ♡ i loved every moment of it too. it felt soothing to truly value each shot that i took

when i got my first digital camera, i started out with taking cheap lenses off of film cameras i found on ebay and started learning (lenses i still use to this day lol). but i never actually shot on the film.. this whole shoot just made me feel all warm inside - cause with film you have to be more intentional with your shots and go slow ✨

hoping this is something that i’ll do more in the future..☺️

and i was surrounded by literal photography wizards who helped me learn lol 💕💕💕 thank you so much .photowerx for inviting me 🥹

♡ woke up this morning to finally see that Cleo Sol dropped this new song “Fear When You Fly” and it was definitely on time for me 🥹 just reminded me of how much i should slow down + just trust. just because we feel fear, feel rushed, deal with a racing mind, or get scared .. doesn’t mean that God’s love isn’t within us

it also reminded to share these photos i took with artist .quoyah as a symbol of this love. read the last slide ♡ 🌈
