After a powerful breakdown at the altar, a woman begins the difficult journey of healing from childhood sexual trauma by choosing truth over silence. Through faith, counseling, and the love of her mother, she discovers that overcoming doesn't mean the pain never existed; it means she no longer has to carry it alone.

JASMINE (Lead)
Female | Late 20s–Late 30s | Black/African American
A young woman who has silently carried the weight of childhood sexual trauma for most of her life. Jasmine is intelligent, compassionate, and resilient, but years of shame have taught her to hide behind strength. Following an emotional encounter at the altar, she takes her first courageous steps toward healing.
Notes:
This role requires significant emotional depth.
Performer must be comfortable portraying grief, vulnerability, and emotional breakdowns.
No scenes depicting abuse will be filmed.
Strong dramatic acting ability is essential.
FEMALE PASTOR
Female | 40s–70s | Any Ethnicity
A compassionate, discerning pastor who ministers at the altar. Her prayer becomes the catalyst for Jasmine's journey toward truth and healing.
Warm, Spirit-led presence with the ability to portray authentic prayer and pastoral care.
