One week from today!! Who's excited?!?!

Bring the dogs, the kids, the cats, we've even done snakes...bring the whole family for photos with Santa! Every donation directly supports K9 Justice League and their work to help local dogs needing homes! Photos are $10 each and delivered electronically so you can print and share to your hearts desire.

The Garage Brewery will have an entire Christmas market going on, so there will be lots of opportunities to support local and snag that original gift for the special person in your life. Guaranteed to be lots of fun for all!

It's been two months since I met sweet Buddy! The chaos of life has kept me from getting on social media to post, but I don't want him to feel left out!!

This adorable senior boy's mama reached out to me to schedule a family and Celebration of life session at their home. Buddy has some health issues going on, and she wanted to try to get pictures while he was still acting himself. Buddy and his sister Gracie were happy to enjoy all the treats, and mom and dad got keepsake images to cherish. I call that a win-win!

The wait is over! (Mostly because I finally had a spare minute to sit at my computer and put this post together.)
Tully - in all her beautiful glory!!
This sweet girl enjoyed every minute of her session out at Brock Environmental Center. She was loving all the extra chicken mom brought for her, the birds and butterflies going by, the new smells...everything.
Can you believe a breeder was ready to euthanize this sweet girl as a puppy because she was born deaf? Thankfully, the vet said no, and reached out to rescue contacts (thank you K9 Justice League!) . And that is how Tully landed with the perfect mama (and family) who has given her a fulfilling life full of love. She is battling some medical issues now, but her mom is making sure each day she has left is a gift. ❤

Big Wish!

The local dog rescue I volunteer with is having their annual online silent auction next month. We are still looking to collect some more items that can be used to help raise funds! Anything big or small is helpful. Used is fine as long as it is good condition. It does NOT need to be related to dogs/animals. (I know we have a stand-up paddle board this year!! 🙌🏼)

We also auction off services/items from local businesses. I donate a photography session each year. We have auctioned off cleaning services, horseback riding lessons, etc.

If you/your business are able to support us via donation, we would greatly appreciate it. I can pick up any donations locally in the Hampton Roads area, and we are able to provide a donation letter as well.

Also, be sure to follow the rescue page (K9 Justice League) to participate in the auction!! 😉

We all needed this win! Happy tails Tigger!! 🥰

For those of us who have spent any time in or around rescue, we know there are those dogs—the ones you worry might be lifers. The ones you’re not sure will ever find their family, through no fault of their own. Tigger was one of those dogs.

He needed a bit of extra work to set him up for success, and he really prefers to be the only resident animal.

But a few weeks ago, he found his people.
They are dedicated to helping him thrive, and we are committed to supporting them for the rest of his life. His trainer and best friend is also still in his corner.

A lot of love, time, and effort went into Tigger. His circle is large.

We love you, Tigger—you deserve this. ❤️
