It been almost 2 weeks without running water, during the hottest part of summer and owning the hairiest breed of cattle has not been ideal but we might have water back by the end of the day🤞🏽

Earthquake is going to be heading to his new pasture in MN soon I’m hoping he got most of the herd covered before he leaves so we can still get some awesome Earthquake offspring next year! His son Cowboy, should be ready to start his new career next year as well, along w/ a few others!🤞🏽

🚨We still have two heavily exposed cows (silver and a mini highpark) , 2 steers and a true micro mini heifer calf available!

Smurfette & Murf

We bought her bred off of an online auction and she was supposed to be bred with a little guy that looked just like her.. but apparently after we bought her she got out of her pasture for a day or so before the hauler was able to come get her.

Her calf is 3 months old and like half the size of her.. I’m thinking Murfys daddy was the neighbors angus or something🙃😅

That being said does anyone have some freezer room to fill within the next year or so? 🥶

Earthquake says good morning and happy Friday🙌🏽

Don’t let his talking fool you he is a sweet boy and he is also available to the right farm!
37” walks on a halter or follows us with a feed bucket, super gentle, easy to work with and does a good job at what he does best! He’s very very heifer heavy every year and 90% of his calves are chondro+. I’d be glad to show you pictures of his previous calves if needed!

Our new well is getting drilled as we speak (storm damage) so hopefully we will have running water again soon but until then we are filling old lick tubs with water at the neighbors cabin and bringing them back down the hill.

Does anyone else still have/use a cistern on their farm?

Calves:
•Delta Dawn
Black chondro+ Micro mini, bucket calf and has been exposed to weddings/events!
Sire 37” chondro+ and dam is 36” chondro-

•Major
Black chondro+ beefcake
Sire 39” chondro+ and dam is AHCA registered 43”

•Sarge
chondro+ AND Dunn, if you want to be able to make a variety of colors with lots of hair he is your guy!

Exposed cows:
•Gypsy
Friendly Silver highland most likely Earthquake, calves on her own (chondro+ bull)

•Smurfette
Friendly Mini highpark cow, amazing tight bag, most likely bred back to Earthquake and has a huge steer calf at her side. (Bred when we bought her)

Black nose valais sheep:
•two very sweet registered ladies asking $1,🥕🥕🥕 each (I paid double that)

We also still have all the mini goats available and all are exposed to both blue eyes bucks.
