Sometimes….things don’t go according to plan. You can either see it as a problem, or an opportunity to get creative.

When I’m not taking photos of people (or for people) I go on walks with my camera.

Want to know how the most recent on started? I dropped my wee little Maverick off for a service.

Instead of waiting at the shop or catching an uber….I walked back toward home.

I saw some different critters in town, and it brought me some inspiration for a project this year.

Be in the right place. At the right time. Have a camera.

l've spent a long time trying to get a photo of a wild dolphin launching itself into the air. Finally, I've gotten a keeper.

Sometimes (let's be honest....MOST of the time) a jump is small, or happens so fast I'll be left with just the tail sticking out of the water.

BUT NOT THIS TIME!

Color me stoked guys, it's a good one.

Maybe there's a bit of noise and grain. Maybe the dolphin is a wee bit small in the frame.

Doesn't matter.

I like it.
