Wabash County Fair Rodeo

What a blast it was to get my camera out at the rodeo! I have always loved the rodeo and to photograph it was something special. I hope to be able to do this more in my life because boy do I just love this sport! I have an incredibly long way to go on being good at it but sometimes thats not what it is about.

I have a lot of history books that have these amazing photographs the pioneers, cowboys, and my favorite, the rough and tough women who went against the grain. In a time when "having the best equipment" is used as an excuse, and I've been guilty of that, I knew that with what I had I could capture a story. Those photographs are how I want to shoot, it wasn't about perfection it was about preserving, and that is what I want to do as well.

Officially (because I was trying scheduling post - which evidently I don't know how to do haha!) here are some of my photos!

I know that I promised a "get to know the host" episode but I have something more exciting this week! Don't worry though because I just pushed that episode back one week so tune in next week to hear that! I have been wanting to start having music on my podcast sense I started out on this journey, and now its official (beyond just my own music)! Welcome our first band! Now I would tell you the band's name but they don't have one! I love this because that is what sitting around playing music is all about!

Hannah Stoller, Clavin Stoller, and Nicole Chen bring the most fun energy to the podcast today! I was so happy they said yes to coming on and sharing their jaw dropping talent with us! We had a blast taking photos and laughing between takes, I couldn't have asked for better first porch guests!
