KMP Client Guide: Location #9 | Private Farm Property (Just North of Waco)
One of the top questions I get from both new and returning clients is, “Where is a good place to take photos?”
There are a lot of factors to consider when choosing the perfect location—your style, outfit choices, time of year, accessibility, and the overall look you would like to achieve.
To help my clients visualize their options, I’m putting together a collection of location guides featuring videos and photos from some of my favorite shooting spots. My goal is to make choosing a location easier and help you find the perfect setting for your session!
This farm offers a classic Texas backdrop with open fields, rustic fencing, weathered barns, country roads, and beautiful natural light. It’s perfect for seniors, families, couples, and anyone looking for a relaxed, rural feel with authentic Texas charm. The variety of scenery allows us to capture everything from western-inspired portraits to timeless country photos without traveling between multiple locations. I also have a beautiful Longhorn and a miniature pony that call this farm home and love to be in photos!
This location is especially beautiful during golden hour, when the warm sunlight creates a soft glow across the fields and highlights the rustic textures of the barns and fences. The sunsets here are absolutely stunning and make for some truly magical images.
This is the ninth of many guides to come—stay tuned for more location spotlights! 📸✨
