MODEL CALL: Looking for around 3-4 couples who LIKE TO GET DRESSED UP (think, fancy wedding, Vanity Fair) for a portrait shoot I'm doing. There's NO COST to participate, and you'll receive FIVE DIGITALS in return. This is for some marketing that I have in mind, so you would need to be ok with me sharing the images on our website & socials. Sessions will be 30-45 minutes, likely stacked on a tbd date in the near future (next couple of weeks). This will be at our Wakefield, NH studio. ALL AGES. What an outstanding team culture I got to experience this summer during my group headshot session at Quietude by Ember Escapes with the Ember crew! Not only were team members relaxed and thoroughly enjoying the pristine beauty of the lush New England forest (over 60 acres worth!) and historic, early 1900's mountain lodge, they also demonstrated genuine camaraderie and joy that can only be attributed to a positive, supportive work environment. Company retreats and gatherings are an investment, not in a "company," but in human beings. Happy and fulfilled human beings are an exponential yield that equals success on a number of levels.

I love that Ember wanted to mark this team-building weekend with both, team headshots and lifestyle photography, capturing that camaraderie. Team members were relaxed and having fun, and that showed in the resulting images! We setup at one of the many woodland trailheads on the property and created these nature-themed team headshots. It's a vibe! These are just headshots, for work, but these folks will be reminded of a very human, back-to-nature experience every time they see their portraits for many years to come!

Wakefield Heritage Day Part II: A highlight of Heritage this past weekend was the presentation, "Do You Remember?" This was held in the historic "Union Hotel" ballroom, aka, the Wakefield Resource Center. Longtime residents of Wakefield gathered to regale us with tales of a bygone era, what life was like in the early-to-mid 20th century. Everyone in attendance enjoyed a real treat, as these first-person stories of "back in the day," are only becoming more rare. Fortunately, the presentation was filmed and recorded by WCAT, so stay tuned with the Wakefield Heritage Commission to find out when and how it can be viewed.
Here are some photos we captured in the amazing ballroom (aka, Opera House, not to be confused with the Wakefield Town Hall Opera House), which appears to be mostly untouched from the late 1800's-early 1900's!
