Instead, I think I will tell you that I have a passion for capturing moments. Becoming a mother was the catalyst that caused my love of photography to blossom. I have 3 children, Preslee Lynn, Kaylee Pauline and Jaxson Wayne. My family is my life. Some may know, some may not, but my daughter Preslee was in a terrible car accident on July 6th, 2013. I thought it would be impossible to do...but it is not. Hold onto life, and cherish it. More about me as a person? Well...my background stems from a Small Texas Town, A Bachelors Degree from Southwest Texas State University and a Career in Human Resources. From Mommy to Mommy.... I know how fleeting the moments are with your children. From the first smile to the first step, I know how you feel. I want to capture those moments for you, to treasure forever. There’s something about an old log cabin, weathered wood, wide-open grass and a little Texas history that feels like the perfect place to photograph the people who make home feel like home.

This fall, Sassy Massey Photography is heading to a beautiful hidden gem in Montgomery, Texas for The Homestead Sessions. 📸

Think less “everybody stand still and smile at the camera” and more...

Bare feet in the grass.
Boots and blue jeans.
Kids being kids.
Mom actually getting IN the pictures.
Dad pretending he doesn't hate family pictures. 😂

Real laughs, real hugs and all those little in-between moments that somehow become your favorites.

This location is packed with character, including a rustic old log cabin, antique details, gorgeous weathered textures and plenty of wide-open green space. That means we can create a gallery with tons of variety without ever leaving the property.

Dress it up with fall colors and boots, keep it classic with denim and neutrals, or bring your family's own personality. These aren't meant to look like everyone else's family pictures.

Hi sweet friends 🤍

Just wanted to pop on here with a quick update and let everyone know that I am spending today editing, and all photos will be delivered by the end of tonight.

I also wanted to share a little life update — I recently went back to working a corporate Monday-through-Friday job, which means my weekday editing time is much more limited than it used to be. While this season looks a little different for me, please know I am still pouring my heart into every gallery and giving your memories the love and attention they deserve.

If you have sent me a message, I truly apologize for the delay in getting back to you. I will be responding to all messages this weekend, and I so appreciate your patience and understanding.
