I received my first camera at the age of 12. From that moment on, i knew i was never going to place it down. Starting at the same age, i processed films, prints and was obtaining personal commissions. I have been a professional photographer now for over 20 years. I started late after a dreadful corporate job. I needed something else. I was forced going into a full time photography career after

a major layoff at one of the largest computer companies in the world. It turned out to be a blessing in disguise for me. Now I photograph what i want, love, and support family doing it. I have a beautiful wife, and four wonderful children. I am primarily self taught, but have had some great teachers and mentors along the way. After all that I have learned, i realized that all one must do is LOOK, have patience, and be ready to shoot. The moment goes as fast as it comes. It normally always happens on its own. Luck is a big part, probably everything, but being able to catch a vibe when something is about to happen is a gift, and i feel very fortunate. My photography is editorial, portrait, commercial. I am storyteller. I love watching people, what they do, and how they react. I carry a camera wherever i go. I love documenting everyday life. If I'm not working on a commissioned assignment, I make one up, and turn it into a personal project. My portrait work is pure, raw, honest, and simple. I enjoy collaborating with my subject, and making them to feel comfortable. I work with celebrities to everyday people. I am always shooting as if it's for the cover. No mater how large or small the assignment . I thank the Lord for giving me the gift of placing people at ease, and for giving me the talent i have to make an honest living.

Soon I will be posting images of Poughkeepie and surrounding areas that feature people who go unnoticed in our society and day to day life. Good hardworking people, as well as those that have many issues preventing them to function in the same neighborhoods we live in. Good hard working people who fear being deported or harassed. A different view of our town rather than the same politicians and entrepreneurs featured constantly. A photo gallery which may be named “compassion”

I’ve worked many jobs over the past 10 years. I’ve seen things that’s don’t add up. It inspired this project
