In 2021 I was newly married and felt the Lord lead me to leave my job, but I didn’t feel clear direction as to what was next. Pretty soon after, He made it abundantly clear.

I had SO many doubts, fears, and questions. But underneath all that was perfect peace and giddy joy.

I’m grateful this little reel trend brought me to a place of sweet reflection. My heart swells and my eyes fill with tears at the heart of a Father who gave me the gift of doing what I love most.

That girl in 2021 had put so many passions on a shelf, unsure if she would ever find them again. The Lord was so kind to lead me to pick up my camera off of that shelf, and I’m forever grateful I trusted Him. 🤍

Now that the news is out… what. an. HONOR to get to celebrate life with these incredible friends!!!!!!! ✨

The most beautiful night documenting the most exciting news. There is no doubt Sam and Milena will instill the gospel of Christ in this little heart and that is this child’s (and our!) greatest need. Praise God, the Giver of life! 🤍

Marisa reached out to me about extended family photos, and this sweet session couldn’t have been any better!!!!

Here’s some highlights:

✨We met at Mimi’s house and boy was the whole location just lovely. (These portraits were to celebrate her birthday!)
✨Upon Marisa’s request, we started with prayer. It set the tone for all of our hearts as we enjoyed the time together.
✨There were sentimental details and so much laughter and maybe even a few (happy) tears.

I can’t tell you just how wonderful these humans were to work with. They even made me feel like part of the family! I enjoyed our time so much, chatting and catching all the in between moments. I’m so grateful for the Fernandez crew! 🤍

It’s wedding weekend for these two, so cue the long-winded, mushy words. 🤍

For those who don’t know, Jerrica is my sister-in-law who’s more like a sister, and her fiancé Jack has already become family to us so easily. We have also had the joy of Jerrica renting our basement apartment the last 7+ months, which has been so life-giving and easy. Jack has stayed in our guest room most weekends since then, and it’s been such a gift to do so much life together this year. We have had a front row seat to the beauty of Christ at work in each of these two and their upcoming covenant union.

These two are serious about Jesus and a perfect fit — both deeply sincere, grateful, servant-hearted, intentional, joyful, generous, and humble hearts. All three of us Fertigs LOVE our Jerr and Jack-Jack (as Halle calls them). 🥹

We praise God for His redemption in each of their lives and rejoice in His bringing them together for His glory and their good! The Lord has done GREAT things, and we rejoice with the future Lenhardts!!!! 🎉❤️✨

This newborn session with the Hoxsies was so fresh and so honest. No poses, just a slow morning living their new normal. ✨

I’m so glad big sister got to pick out her choice of bow and carry around her bag of goldfish with only one sock on. Because one day, mama, when you’re a bit more rested but the memories begin to get a lil fuzzy, you can go back in time and remember it for exactly how it was. Free from perfection yet FULL of beauty.
