I was able to capture the photos of our local dance studio Academy of Dance Warner Robins a few weeks ago. They are preparing for their end of year recital which is a Alice in Wonderland Theme! It was so neat seeing the girls play their part.

I had to pleasure of shooting these gorgeous baby belly photos of my sweet friend Jess. I think they turned out absolutely stunning and I had to share them with you all.

I learned early on when taking photos that if you can get the people you are taking photos of to laugh as you are "checking your lighting" in camera then they relax and the photos turn out so good.

Well y'all we had no problems laughing because we are all big goof balls. Did I mention they brought out light sabers and I think Jess took Ben. Just sayin'

Throw back to 8 years ago! My friends The Burtons! They were pregnant with their first baby Piper. She was due any day and then all of a sudden they delivered her still born. That was honestly the first close encounter I had to miscarriage. My heart broke for them as we had celebrated for nearly 9 months this new baby to be born. She had a name, we’d seen her face on sonogram and we were excited. I did a spontaneous photoshoot for my dear friends and we captured some amazing shots. This one is one of my favorites. It never dawned on me that we would be all broken hearted just a few days later. But we were and we are still sad that today Piper would be 8 years old. She is something to celebrate as is this beautiful family!

I love you Burtons! You mean so much to me! Even if we don’t talk often I think of you guys often.

Class of 2018! This Senior has been my best client! I have shot middle school, prom and now senior shots of her. I can't believe she graduates in a few months. Lexi Cornell Congratulations Sweetie on your soon to be graduation. Your future is bright!
