The view of the shoreline from South Point on Thunder Bay in Michigan. Backpacking Negwegon State Park was a very cool experience as it was very secluded and calm for the most part. It made for a great first backpacking trip for my son and would highly recommend it for anyone that's in to back country camping.

The landscape of Trout Lake was lacking color to say the least but what do you expect at the end of winter, very beginning of spring lol. The contrast of the yellow sand and vegetation pops when looking at it against the gray trees and sky. It makes you think that even without the lush green vegetation nature can still be beautiful.

With the beautiful weather we had today in Michigan, I had to take the time to get out and hike. As we made our way by Kent Lake we seen these 2 swans in the water looking for food and enjoying the warmth. The one seemed to be flapping its wings quite a bit and making a show, I almost wonder if they were trying to get the attention of the other if you know what I mean lol.

A wonderful sun set from the Lake Superior Shoreline. We were lucky enough to have great weather most of the time but there were a couple days that were cloudy and a little rainy. It still didn't stop us from going to the beach and seeing the sunset each night we were out there.
