Greetings once again!

Today, I have for you an aerial observation of the demolition of the former Copperweld Steel Corporation site in Warren Township, Ohio.

This site has stood for my entire lifetime, but now is being systematically dissected in the hopes it can be redeveloped. That is a long way off as there has been some very dubious activity performed on the property in the past.

Copperweld had a unique process to coat alloys with copper for use in the electronics industry.

Around the 1970's, overseas competition and free trade agreements sharply killed this industry as other countries were able to dump products at far cheaper prices than these mills could produce at home.

Copperweld, by all accounts, was run pretty well for most of its history. Major reinvestments were made to the faciltities since it was purchased around 1939, even up until it filed for bankruptcy after building a new melt shop it was never able to use.

Enjoy the history and the views!!

Thanks for watching!!

Greetings!!

Recently captured the Mark W. Barker traveling down the Cuyahoga River in Cleveland, Ohio. At this point along the river, it is close to reaching the end of its mission, arriving at the Cleveland Cliffs Steel Works with a load of iron ore from the Cleveland Bulk Terminal on Lake Erie.

Images captured Saturday, February 28, 2026.

Enjoy!

Greetings!

The long awaited project of documenting the scholastic football fields in Trumbull County is finally complete, though not without an initial production snafu.

There are probably some errors, but the images are the point. Enjoy the views that Trumbull County has to offer.

These images were obtained during the 2025 football season, or over the recent months following completion of the season. There were some which were recently obtained to update information.

The drone was not flown directly over the fields if there was large activity taking place and most footage was obtained on the weekend.

Enjoy!

Greetings!

Today, I am going to share some imagery of how shipping works on the Great Lakes.

In Sandusky, Ohio, there is a coal loading facility that feeds the Great Lakes shipping fleets for distribution.

This video was put together to illustrate how this process works and the huge equipment and human engineering that produces it.

It should be noted that faciltities like this one, around the Great Lakes, have been mothballed and removed as coal use has been negatively portrayed and disincentivised through regulation.

Enjoy your history in operation.

Thanks for taking a gander.

Greetings,

The Kimberly-Clark Corporation has selected my hometown of Warren, Ohio, (Technically Howland Twp. and Warren Twp.) as the site of a huge distribution center to supplement their operations in this part of the United States.

Construction on the site of the former LTV and WCI Steel Mills on the South side of the city began in 2025. Kimberly-Clark is an American based, but international consumer goods and personal care item producer. They produce mostly paper-based consumer products that impact daily hygiene and medical applications.

The following video production is a short documentation of the progress at the facility. This facility is sorely needed to help boost the recovery of the area from the historical loss of the steel industry.

Thanks for looking!

Video contains aerial and still images.

Greetings,

This is a drone flight video, with still pictures included, of the Conneaut Lake Park property in Conneaut Lake, Pennsylvania, in 2025.

I have been attracted to this property since my youth, and I have gotten to know many fine people as a result. The property has changed immensely in the last 10 years and I felt it needed to be captured.

The changes have also touched off a wide variety of opinions and hurt feelings, but that is not the point of this video. It is simply a drone, with a camera, showing pictures of real estate next to Pennsylvania's largest natural lake.

Enjoy the views.
