This senior session is probably the most special senior session I have ever done. Why? Simple. Because these are the senior photos of my firstborn, my sweet boy, Ace. 🖤

Ace has never been like every other boy. He likes different things, he has his own style, his own interests, and definitely his own funny, slightly dark personality 😂 And I am SO proud of the confidence he has to simply be who he is and not be ashamed of it.

For his senior photos, I really wanted to let him take the lead. I wanted these photos to represent HIM—not what senior photos are “supposed” to look like.

So we went from badass, future-lawyer-inspired portraits at the law firm next door (thank you guys for letting us take over your amazing library!), to manic-inspired chaos 😂, to his Godzilla collection and everything in between.

And somehow, all of it together is perfectly Ace.

This year I let my son dictate what his senior photos would be because I truly wanted him to look back at them years from now and still love them. We created a chaotic, weird, badass, beautiful senior session together that represents exactly who my firstborn is at this moment in his life.

Ace, I can’t wait to see the man you become. I’m here for every adventure, every weird idea, every dark joke, every accomplishment and whatever comes next. I’m just thankful I get to be here to watch it all.

Our Halloween set is open EVERY WEDNESDAY in October! We created something dark, moody, elegant, a little creepy, and of course… a little sexy if that’s your vibe. 👀

This is one of the hardest announcements we’ve ever had to make. ❤️

After a lot of conversations, emotions, and sleepless nights, we have made the difficult decision to close the doors of The Portrait Artist Studio in Warrensburg as we prepare to move out of state.

This decision has NOT been easy. It has been weighing on us for quite some time, and saying goodbye to a community that has supported us, trusted us, and helped us grow is incredibly bittersweet.

But before we go, WE HAVE SOME WORK TO DO! ❤️

🚨 PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE — if you have been thinking about booking a session with us, NOW IS THE TIME!

We will be wrapping up ALL photography sessions in April 2027 and officially saying goodbye to Warrensburg in June.

And we have one BIG request! Our Power of She project still has 20 SPOTS LEFT, and we are desperately hoping to fill every single one before we leave! This project means so much to us, and we want to finish it STRONG! 💪❤️
