The only thing more chaotic and patience-testing than family Christmas photos is taking your own said family Christmas photos with a tripod, extreme cold temperatures, and three rambunctious boys. Next year, I'm hiring out 😆 At least I managed to get some good photos and hopefully will send out a Christmas card for the first time in many years! Merry Christmas from our family to yours! Each chance I get to photograph someone is special, but this session was a little extra special. Danielle was one of Hudson's preschool teachers when he attended the preschool at the local high school. Now she's graduating from college and will soon have her very own classroom. God bless these wonderful teachers! Isn't she beautiful? I felt like I was photographing Taylor Swift.

I've been pretty quiet on here in 2021. We welcomed a new addition to our family and I've taken some time to get acclimated to life with 3 children and just enjoy the newborn/infant phase. This is the first time that I haven't had to return to "work" after a traditional maternity leave. It's been such a joy! Over the next year, I hope to continue to focus on and grow this little hobby of mine. But until then, enjoy some of our recent family photos. We ventured out to the battlefield and the scenery did not disappoint. I'm not sure there is anything harder than trying to photograph your own family with a tripod and self-timer. For all of the chaos and yelling, we managed to capture some sweet memories. 🥰

This beautiful lady is a dear friend of mine. But the best thing about her, is that her heart is just as beautiful as the outside - and she's a knockout as you can see! Their family is just one of the very best I know. My boys adore her kids. Oh yea, her husband isn't too bad either 😉. This was such a special session for me.
