Trying to pose kids profoundly stresses me out (to the point that I become drenched in sweat). Instead I just talk to them, follow them around, and give them tasks and prompts that make them comfortable to be wild and free - Fly like a bird! Doesn't this path look like fun to run on? Morgan Morrell, you are going to be the kind of mommy we all want! Mothers-to-be are some of the most gorgeous people on earth (in my humble opinion). And Mamas, in an open-air space with plenty of room to spread out, we can safely capture shots of you and your beautiful bump. I had so much fun on this shoot. Repeat client and friend Heather Doran Fitzpatrick reached out and asked me to document her girls' visit home from their New York schools, and they brought five awesome friends with them.

Heather shared with me that she regrets not having photos of her college group of friends, and she wanted to give this gift to her daughters. I thought that was so cool! I hope someday they look back on these and remember how much fun life was at this age.

Though they didn't know it, before they even saw each other in their wedding duds, Matthew and Taylor Davenport were wearing twin grins that revealed total calm and certainty. They got married this January at Williamsburg Winery, and it was an honor to witness their wedding from behind my camera. Terrence Lamonte Riggins, thank you for being the best possible sidekick and for helping me capture the spirit of this wonderful day.
