it’s funny how the seasons that feel the longest are often the ones we miss the most.

one day, the toys will be put away, the little feet won’t come running, and the tiny hands won’t reach for yours quite so often. but today, that is all here. the chaos, the laughter, the cuddles, the love. the moments you’ll someday wish you could relive are all happening right now.

there’s something about a mother’s love that changes the feeling of a room. it’s in the way she reaches for tiny hands without thinking, the way she puts everyone else first, the way she remembers every little detail, and the way her love stays long after the moment has passed.

through my camera, i’ve been lucky enough to witness so many moments of motherhood- the joyful moments, the exhausting ones, the quiet sacrifices no one talks about, and the kind of love that asks for nothing in return.

today i’m thinking of every kind of mom. the ones holding their babies close, the ones carrying love and loss, the ones still waiting and hoping, the ones who stepped in when they didn’t have to, and the ones who simply love like a mother does.

to every mom- by blood, by choice, by heart. you make the world softer and stronger, and today, we celebrate you. your love is seen, felt, and deeply appreciated 🫶🏼💐
