We'll craft the perfect route to hit all the iconic spots on campus; I'll give ya tips and tricks to be the most confident and comfortable; I'll help you schedule for the best light and the fewest people; I'll be your extra set of hands to fix your cap, gown & stole.

TIPS & TRICKS FOR ENGAGEMENT PHOTOS!! (1/3)

💍Let’s talk about RINGS!!💍

1️⃣ CLEAN YOUR RING! This one is pretty self explanatory :D I have a specific macro lens for just for a super close up shot of your ring, so make sure you’re prepped for that!
2️⃣ GET A MANICURE! If you like getting your nails done and having a pretty design, now is the time! If that’s not your thing, no worries at all. Just keep in mind that your hands will be photographed up close.
3️⃣ BRING YOUR RING BOX! *Especially* if it’s personalized or carries special meaning! Regardless, it’s always nice to have the box so you can have extra nice pictures :)

GRAD PHOTO TIPS & IDEAS!! (3/3)

1️⃣ SOMETHING PERSONAL: Whether it’s building, class ring, Duke vs UNC newspapers, this is the time to do something unique and personal! I’m always down to go to a building that means something to you.
2️⃣ ROUTE PLANNING: When we plan out your route, think about three things - 1. what things you wanna remember about your campus. 2. Fun personal photos. It’s your day to live out your model dreams. 3. Professional LinkedIn Photos. I’m always more than willing to take a couple of portraits specifically for job applications, etc.
3️⃣ HAVE FUN!!!! I’ll tell ya how to pose, how to throw your cap, how to put on your cap, so you can just relax and enjoy! This is a monumental moment that marks the culmination of such effort and time. My goal is to commemorate and celebrate your hard work in photos!

GRAD PHOTO TIPS & IDEAS!! (2/3)

1️⃣ CHAMPAGNE: I mean, need I say more? These pictures always are so much fun and bring out the best smiles and laughs.
2️⃣ OUTFIT: Think about how your outfit will match your gown. Some schools have pretty vibrant colors, so I’d suggest going with more neutral/pastel colors. If bold is your style, then go for it! But still keep in mind how everything would look together.
3️⃣ STEAM. YOUR. GOWN: Yes, the wrinkles will show. No, I’m not gonna photoshop them out of 200 images :P

GRAD PHOTO TIPS & IDEAS!! (1/3)

1️⃣ FRIENDS: Schedule a photoshoot with your friends! You’ll have so much fun AND you’ll get to capture your friendship and laughter in photos! I’ll make sure that everyone has individual photos on top of fun group ones :)

2️⃣ BRING A BAG: something that you can throw everything into - keys, wallet, phone, extra flip-flops, that hair tie that you don’t people to see on your wrists. This saves time and helps keep everything together.

3️⃣ TIMING: Crowds can be crazy when it’s close to grad season. Especially if there are iconic spots on campus where lines can be over an hour. So definitely schedule that with mind, and, if possible, ask friends to help wait in line.

Y’all, this was the most beautiful sunrise session at Old Town, Alexandria. We got to visit the very spot that Jack proposed to Tyler and the restaurant where they went to celebrate afterwards!! Absolutely stunning 😍
