Let’s go girls 🎤

I highly recommend breaking out the karaoke machine during your reception. Paige and Ryan’s intimate wedding at was my last of the year, and I can’t say enough good things about this sweet couple and how fun their day was. The energy was infectious, especially on the dance floor. It was so hard to narrow down just a few sneak peeks. Congratulations to the newlyweds!

Kicked off November by celebrating Emma and Tyler, and how gorgeous is that fall foliage? Virginia is truly showing off this season. E & T wove lush green throughout their day, beautifully accenting the changing leaves outside. Congratulations to these sweet newlyweds!

Kathryn and Darian wed in a beautiful fusion of Persian and American cultures this weekend at the always lovely . Outside the foliage and overcast skies made for a perfect fall day, while the inside of the conservatory was decorated in fresh greens, blues, and pinks. A cotton candy artist treated guests to sugary creations during cocktail hour, and the dance floor was packed all night.

Wedding days are such a beautiful reminder of how much love we have in our lives. This sweet couple was wrapped up in so much love, and I wish them every happiness as they start this new chapter.

Putting the “best” in Sunday best 🥂 Lian and Hun Ki’s wedding day at .marsh this Sunday was classic, elegant and glamorous. This sweet pair found many ways throughout the day to honor their wonderful parents, and made each guest feel special with hand-written notes at each plate. My jaw dropped when I saw the draping in the reception space. Every detail was planned beautifully and with such intention.

If you’re looking for fall photos in DC, you can’t beat Georgetown. The leaves are starting to turn, and neighbors have their cute pumpkins lining their porches! I got to spend a beautiful Sunday morning with Caroline and Jake in Georgetown, exploring the neighborhoods and getting to know them. They were just the sweetest, and I’m so excited for their fall wedding next year!

Woo and Jason flew in from Texas for their classic DC engagement session this past weekend and we hit up two iconic sets of columns! They couldn’t have come at a more perfect time because the fall foliage is starting to peek through, adding some warmth to their early morning session. This sweet couple will be back in DC in the spring to tie the knot!

Hana and Pat got married at Old Town Alexandria’s historic district earlier this month, and their day is a beautiful example of how an intimate guest list and short time frame can create the perfect wedding day. We started with a brief ceremony behind Carlyle House before spending an hour exploring Old Town for some newlywed portraits. It was so nice to get to know Hana and Pat as we walked down shaded cobblestone streets and along the waterfront!

Swapping wedding cake for birthday cake today 🍰

Another year spent with my favorite people—my goofy, kind, lovable babies and my phenomenal husband (it’s his birthday today too!). They’re my reason, my home, and they make sure not a single day goes by without laughter and snuggles.

And another year with some special people who invite me into their lives for a short while—my clients, who I can say with complete confidence are the most genuinely kind people. Whether it’s been a few years since your wedding or we’re planning for the year to come, you’re always on my mind and I wish nothing but happiness for you.

My sisters (my other favorite people) asked me what I wanted for my birthday and I said, “A nap.” So if you need me, I’ll just be over on the couch watching Love is Blind 🥂
