A sophisticated black-tie celebration with a touch of moody elegance and a little DC magic, Liz and Danny’s wedding at The Hay-Adams felt like stepping into an iconic city love story. Think martini lunches, wood-paneled rooms, and just the right hint of drama (the chic kind). And… one hell of a view!

From their first connection at a Baltimore bar to a proposal by the Declaration of Independence Memorial, these two built a love that’s timeless, loyal, and full of spark. Liz, radiant in her Katherine Tash gown and Jimmy Choos, brought the fire. Danny, forever steady in Paul Stuart, brought the calm. Together, they’re unforgettable. ✨

One of the most heartfelt touches? A tribute to both of their mothers during cocktail hour, featuring a display of their wedding dresses. Elegant, emotional, and enduring.

Elizabeth and Daniel — the perfect pair for a champagne-soaked afternoon at Le Diplomate and a golden-hour stroll through the Smithsonian gardens.

Art in Bloom 2025

This was pure magic. I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Art in Bloom this year at the magnificent Larz Anderson House in DC—and I’m still not over it.

Each floral installation was a story in full bloom—bold, expressive, and thoughtfully designed to echo the art, history, and architecture of the space. Every turn revealed something more imaginative than the last, and I was in awe of the talent and heart these floral artists poured into their work.

Even more special? I had the honor of photographing several incredible floral artists alongside their creations—including a few dreamy multiple exposure portraits that blend each florist with their unique floral design. A little surreal, a little painterly, and a whole lot of heart.

Endless thanks to the many wonderful creatives who made this event so inspiring (see full list below in comments), and a special shout-out to ASP team member David Lebow (.3) for assisting me throughout the night. I’m so grateful to create in such a vibrant, generous, and artful community!
