Sometimes you get to work for an icon in the wedding photography industry, who has awesome clients with dream-worthy weddings, and sometimes that results in a “pinch me” moment like your photo being featured as the cover for Washingtonian Weddings. Girl, what?!

While all of the credit (and more!) goes to DC Wedding Photographer | Kir & Co, I’ll be unashamedly hanging a copy of the cover on my wall.

Your sister sitting on the diving board you spent summers perfecting your canon balls, your dog photobombing pictures, the unprompted laughs and smiles… these are the types of photos that really round out your gallery, and are honestly some of my favorites!!

When the dog agrees that you’ve found the right person. (good girl, Autumn!!)

So different than my “normal” DC session, we had such an incredible time exploring for H+R’s engagement session! We leaned into our shared love for the outdoors, horses, and animals, and laughed the entire time! Looking forward to their autumn wedding amongst the changing leaves.

Getting ready with L and the girls… I honestly wish every bride on their wedding day can experience the warmth, joy, and friendship I witnessed here. ☀️ I’m unsure what shined brighter, the sun coming through the converted firehouse windows? Or their smiles!
