I’ve known Damone Summers🌸 for years, and every time she steps in front of my camera, she reminds me why she’s one of my favorite people to create with. Effortless. Fearless. Timeless.
It was an honor to help bring the visual story for her new single, “Release,” to life. We had an incredible shoot, created some of my favorite images we’ve ever made together, and seeing one of them become the official cover art made it even more special.

The People’s Pitch |
The People’s Pitch was everything we hoped it would be and more.
Over four incredible days, the rooftop at Hi Lawn became a home for football, culture, creativity, and community. From unforgettable matches and conversations to new connections and shared moments, this was a reminder of what happens when people come together around the beautiful game.
Huge thank you to the teams at Black Arrow FC , Creative Theory Agency , Hi-Lawn , Union Market District , All the AMAZING DJs, and everyone who helped bring this vision to life. Lover’s Rock |
Black love is not just romance.
It’s choosing each other over and over again through every season. It’s friendship, patience, sacrifice, growth, and grace. It’s building something bigger than yourselves and finding beauty in the journey.

Spending time with Duane and Makenzie reminded me that love is often found in the quiet moments. The glance that says everything. The laugh only they understand. The comfort of knowing you’ve found your person.
In a world that often overlooks our stories, documenting Black love will always feel like an act of preservation and celebration.

“Growing up I was teased for my melanin. I had to fall in love with who I am. I wasn’t going to change. There is a quote by called Pressha where she mentions that she “wasn’t the aesthetic.” My melanin is wrapped in love. A love that allowed me to create my own narrative. I chose me.”
