“Growing up I was teased for my melanin. I had to fall in love with who I am. I wasn’t going to change. There is a quote by called Pressha where she mentions that she “wasn’t the aesthetic.” My melanin is wrapped in love. A love that allowed me to create my own narrative. I chose me.”

I’ve been storytelling and community building for over 20 years.

For the last 15+ years, I’ve done that through a camera. And for more than a decade, I’ve been a full time creative building a life around documenting culture.

My name is Adedayo Kosoko. I’m a Nigerian-American photographer, creative director, and storyteller. I’ve photographed sports, fashion, live performances, weddings, brands, and communities always focused on capturing the humanity of the moment.

Truthfully, I’ve been so busy creating in the real world that I sometimes forget to post here. Because life is for the living.

Today I serve as a Creative Director with where we explore the intersection of football and Black culture.

I’m also a lifelong supporter of and the global culture around the game continues to inspire me.

Along the way I’ve built projects like and co founded .jo , a creative space for artists and storytellers here in the DC area.

I’m a loving father/husband to my two boys Adelani + Adesoji and my amazing wife .

Proud to join Heel The World Foundation as an ambassador. I’m choosing to leave a legacy of love!
As a Nigerian, this matters to me. Heel The World represents intentional design, limited production, and real investment in Africa’s future. Handmade shoes, merino wool polos, and empowerment bracelets that are crafted with care and purpose, not excess.
What stands out most is the commitment beyond fashion. A portion of proceeds goes directly toward infrastructure and education, supporting long-term impact across the continent.
Through the Heel The World Foundation, over 1,000 jobs have been created and hundreds of entrepreneurs supported across Africa. The next phase begins in Nyamebekyre with a Leadership and Entrepreneurship Center preparing youth ages 16–25 for pathways across key global sectors.
