A chilly but beautifully sunny spring day at .Have I mentioned this is one of my favorite venues in the DMV? If not, now you know.

I had such a wonderful time chasing moments for these high school sweethearts. I’m still thinking about all the heartfelt stories their family and lifelong friends shared. It’s clear their love has been growing for years in the most meaningful way.

That kind of love runs deep on an entirely different level, and it meant so much to play a small part in documenting it all.

I truly LOVE MY JOB!

Today marks another trip around the sun for me!

This past year stretched me in ways I didn’t expect, but it also reminded me how much beauty exists in the in-between moments, the quiet ones, the loud ones, the messy ones, and my favorite… the spontaneous ones.

I feel so grateful for the people who trust me to document their lives, their love, and their families. It’s something I’ll never take lightly.

And I’m especially grateful for my own people, my family and friends who continue to show up for me, support me, and hold me through every season. I truly couldn’t do any of this without you.

I’m walking into this next year with a little more intention, more curiosity, and a lot of gratitude.

Here’s to continuing to grow, having a ton of fun, and being present for it all.

This day was so touching and full of tradition. The community, the connection, the music, the beautiful and thoughtful details all truly set the scene. There was so much love, the energy felt palpable all day long. I’m feeling so grateful I got to be a part of it! Here are a couple of my favorite moments from the day!

A sweet and sunny day in May at The Bishop’s Garden. I love my job so much, I love that I get to be a fly on the wall and catch and chase little moments all around me. Feeling super lucky to call myself a wedding photographer here in DC. Anyways, I just wanted to share some warmth amongst all this cold and angst lately. Wishing for peaceful, warmer and sunnier days✨

Feeling extra excited about all the engagement sessions on the calendar lately!

On that thought, here’s a little throwback to last spring with these two lovebirds. We wandered through Dumbarton Oaks and along the Georgetown waterfront, staying curious and letting our little adventure unfold naturally. Now I’m over here counting down the days until I get to celebrate and document their wedding day this March at the National Museum of Women in the Arts! I can’t wait!!!

Oh and of course I’m gonna figure out a way to play a Grateful Dead song where Bob is on the lead cause I’m still mourning over here 💔 RIP Bob Weir.

A day full of nostalgia, love, and the dreamiest light.
Photographing at the wool factory in Charlottesville VA was so lovely! The venues historic industrial charm, and warm, glowing light set the tone so perfectly. And the bride wearing her grandmother’s wedding dress (also worn by her mom!) was pure magic! A vintage aesthetic layered with so much love and meaning. Truly a beautiful day in every way.

Rain showers rolled through the National Arboretum on their wedding day, and instead of stressing, these two fully embraced it. They laughed, danced, and leaned into every moment. It couldn’t have felt more genuine or beautiful. The rain added this unexpected magic to the day, soft light, quiet moments, and so much emotion. Truly one of those celebrations that reminds you what it’s all really about. Feeling super grateful I got to be a part if this day!
