Kei Ohtani is a family, senior, and portrait photographer in Mason City, IA at very reasonable prices. Now I live in Mason City, Iowa. The reason why I came here, is to achieve my dream of building a solid education system through working in the United Nations in developing countries. I strongly believe that education is significantly important on children’s development. I started taking pictures

since I bought my first camera, Olympus E-PL5. I took a Digital Photography I at NIACC and learned controlling camera, lighting, editing, and photo shooting techniques. A photo I took at Iowa State Capital displayed at 37th Annual Cerro Gordo Photo Show at Charles H. MacNider Art Museum. To get into photography deeply and professionally, I sold Olympus E-PL5 and bought Nikon D7000, Sigma 17-50mm f/2.8. Because I wanted better quality and more background blur in depth which makes a model stand out in pictures, I bought a fixed lens specialized portraits, Nikon 85mm f/1.8. The thing I love about photography is that pictures bring back memories of the very moment and conversation starts. Photography is not just only digital data, but also a tool to communicate, smile, and connect.
