The Pacific Northwest has a way of slowing everything down. 🌲🌊

One moment, you’re surrounded by the quiet of ancient forests, where only the sound of rain and rustling leaves fills the air. The next, you’re standing on a rugged coastline, watching storm waves crash beneath dark skies.

Two completely different worlds, connected by the same wild, untamed beauty. It’s exactly why I keep coming back.

Some forests deserve more than a quick glance they deserve to be explored in every detail.

In the Olympic National Park, the Sony a7R VI paired with the FE 24–70mm F2.8 GM II gave me the flexibility to capture everything from the intricate textures of lush ferns to the vast scale of the rainforest. The 66.8 MP sensor preserves an incredible level of detail, while the lens delivers exceptional sharpness from edge to edge making every image feel as immersive as the moment itself.
