I love a good historical fiction novel. Throw some romance in there. Perfection. DC has so much rich history. But, One thing I have started to love even more… learning about the early American history of Virginia, pre-revolution. I find it all so fascinating. And it is so close to home for us. Literally, historical markers are all over when I drive down the street to the grocery store or out to a winery. Have you ever just stopped and thought about what the landscape looked like at that time. And it was only a couple hundred years ago.
