One of the biggest reasons I see remodelers and custom builders not showing up online is the fear of being “cringe” 👇

And I totallllly get that fear and feel it myself sometimes, but the key is to push through anyways.

👉 I want you to shift from thinking of it as “growing a following” and start thinking about the impact your work actually has.

When you show up and share your projects, your process, and your perspective, you’re not just posting content.

You’re creating opportunities.

Opportunities for homeowners to finally find the right builder.

Opportunities for families to bring their dream home or remodeling project to life.

Opportunities for someone to feel proud of the place they live every day.

And yeah, sometimes you’ll post something and overthink it for 3 hours after.

That’s normal.

But builders and remodelers have always had to market themselves.

Right now, social media is just the tool.

Remodelers: There’s a reason your project spotlights aren't performing 🤳

It’s not about being a videographer or content creator.

In 2026, you want to be able to post a remodeling project and get people interested in your work so they're reaching out to you and not your competitors. And it starts with the basics — like knowing how to film project spotlight videos that stop the scroll and get reach. Your Reels should:

→ include your most scroll-stopping clips in the beginning
→ have slow movements (not rushed or fast paced shots)
→ focus on the details for more aesthetics
→ include the city name or service location
→ if there is text, keep it small and condensed that hightlights the main features of the project or gives teh solution to common pain points your clients mention for even starting the project
