Hi pals! I am Katie Carter, the soul behind K Kalon Photography. Twelve years ago I chose this name because I wanted my photographs to capture the soul of a moment. Kalon means the ideal combination of physical and moral beauty. I believe every person reflects a beauty purely from the fact that they were created in the image of God. I look for it and find it in every single session I photograph.

I love the color green. Golden hour is still my favorite time of day. Coffee shouldn’t be sweet. I think “grandma hobbies” are life skills, and homemade is always worth the time.

I have multiple newborn packages - one including three separate sessions (a baby announcement, a maternity, and a full newborn session) covering every beautiful step of the way.
