This photo captures Middle North Falls, one of the most striking waterfalls in Oregon’s Silver Falls State Park, framed by the lush greenery of the Pacific Northwest. The waterfall pours gracefully from a moss-covered basalt ledge in a narrow, silken stream and at 106 feet, it stands over 10 stories tall.

This full-scale Stonehenge replica was erected as the nation’s first WWI memorial and dedicated in 1918 to the servicemen of Klickitat County, Washington, who died in World War I. It’s located overlooking the Columbia River, along highway 14, about 3 miles east of Maryhill Museum of Art.
