KAIOKEN! 🔴⚡️

Been having way too much fun figuring out how to make these figures feel less like toys and more like frames straight out of Dragon Ball.

Turning my desk into an Alaskan night sky 🌌

I wanted to see if I could take one of my own aurora photos, use it as the background, and make Trunks actually feel like he was standing underneath the northern lights.

So here’s the full setup — camera settings, lighting, placement, and the thought process behind building the shot.

The biggest challenge? Getting the light on the figure to actually match the scene.

Wait for the final shot. 👀

Definitely doing more of these.

Saiyan pride runs in the family.

Took Vegeta and Trunks out into the woods for a little training session. Really enjoying experimenting with practical environments and making these guys feel a little less like figures and a little more like they belong in the world.

Rivals. Allies. Saiyans.

Took Goku and Vegeta out for a little shoot and played around with opposing lighting colors, perspective, and depth of field. I think I’m officially hooked on toy photography. 🔥

That’s a wrap on all four teams! So much fun getting to photograph AK Pride Dance Co. from Sonja’s Studio of Performing Arts this year!
