I just recently picked up a star tracker and took this photo of another galaxy in my back yard with level 8 light pollution..... i cant wait to see what I can do when I head up north!

The Whirlpool Galaxy (M51) is a famous face-on spiral galaxy known for its distinct pinwheel shape, located about 23-25 million light-years away in the constellation Canes Venatici. It's actually a pair of interacting galaxies.
