This is an important event as it is the only way we gather funds to support the efforts of the GDCCC throughout the year.
The GDCCC Fundraiser Competition Is Now Open!
Each year, the Greater Detroit Camera Club Council (GDCCC) holds a fundraiser competition—and this year’s competition is now open for entries!
By participating in this international competition, you are not only showcasing your photography and competing with photographers from around the world but also supporting the GDCCC and its objectives.
Enter your images, support the Council, have some fun—and see if you can bring home a win!
Why Should You Participate?
This competition is an important fundraiser that helps support the costs of running the GDCCC’s six yearly competitions, the End-of-Year Competition, and the annual banquet, as well as the purchase of ribbons and trophies.
By raising funds through the competition, individual clubs do not have to pay yearly dues to cover these expenses.

Awards given for each of the six sections:
- PSA Gold Medal
- 1 GDCCC Gold Metal
- 1 GDCCC Silver E-certificate
- 1 GDCCC Bronze E-certificate
- 3 Judge's Choice E-certificate
Entry fees are:
Up to four images can be submitted in each Section.
- $10.00: 1 Section
- $15.00: 2 Sections
- $20.00: 3 Sections
- $25.00: 4 Sections
-$30.00: 5 Sections
- $35.00: 6 Sections
Everyone is welcome to participate - this is open to the public! Check out the website, review the competition rules and image-sizing requirements, and submit up to four images in each section.
