A&T married in the stunning space of New Britain Museum of American Art — a place I grew up going to as a child to experience the art and exhibitions curated here. It was a true pinch me moment to capture their union here as a place I go to for inspiration. Their wedding was a mix of bold colors (red throughout, a color the symbolizes happiness, joy, good luck among other things), other nods to A’s Chinese heritage through decor and clothing and plenty of delicious Asian and Asian fusion cuisine and beverages throughout the night (including soda options from Avery’s and boba from Kung Fu Tea | America's Bubble Tea ). They also incorporated their love of bird watching into pieces for their guests to view. What stood out amongst the art and decor of the evening was the quiet, deep love this couple has for each other. A love that feels like it can’t be truly captured in a painting, but I worked hard to capture through the camera.
